==The Heroes==
With the Candy King imprisoned within his own castle by the nefarious Lord Licorice, it is up to four mighty heroes of Candy Land to rescue the king and save the day.  Each of the heroes came from the farthest reaches of Candy Land to try and defeat Lord Licorice and his army of Baddies.  The heroes are:

;Sir Cinnamon the Red
Originally a barbarian from the cold, frozen ice cream wastes of the far north, Sir Cinnamon was knighted by the Candy King years ago after the Battle of Gumdrop Pass where he single-handedly held the line for six days and seven nights.  Sir Cinnamon is well-known to be one of the strongest men in Candy Land and the possessor of Candy Land's shortest temper.  He is fiery and passionate, but above all else he is a dependable knight and champion of the people of Candy Land.  Sir Cinnamon was the first of the four heroes to answer the call to arms to rescue the Candy King.

;Lord Lemon the Yellow
Lord Lemon hails from the far eastern Pixie Stick Jungles where he practices his mystical sword techniques daily.  He is a quiet fellow, more of a loner than the other heroes.  His trademark technique, the Lightning-Fast Lemon Slice, has ended the lives of more than one Baddie, and it will be needed if King Candy is to be rescued from the clutches of Lord Licorice.  Everyone in Candy Land knows that no one is faster than Lord Lemon the Yellow.  Lord Lemon was the last hero to arrive in the Gingerbread Forest, but many believe he will be the first to make it to the Candy Castle.

;Baronet Berry the Blue
Baronet Berry the Blue is the highest ranking magician in the Magic Circle, the band of magicians that call the western reaches of the Lollipop Forest home.  When she heard that Candy Castle was under siege by Lord Licorice, she immediately made her way to the Gingerbread Forest to meet up with Sir Cinnamon and Lady Lime.  Baronet Berry is a mighty healer, and her magical skills will be needed if King Candy is to be rescued.

;Lady Lime the Green
The Warden of the Southern Shores of the Soda Seas, Lady Lime was originally the bodyguard of King Candy.  She was given the Soda Pop Fortress for her years of service, and now serves as Candy Land's southern Warden.  She was the second hero to answer the call to arms, just after Sir Cinnamon.  Lady Lime is sturdy and dependable, but a bit tomboyish.  She and Sir Cinnamon have a friendly rivalry.
