== Homeworld ==
At the time of the Life Bringer's campaign Velschierre was reminiscent of ancient Terra in the 23'rd century, covered with sprawling cities and large urban environments. Though the planet was much more successful at surviving the Old Night than many others, it was suffering from increasingly more common and more severe natural disasters. The Life Bringers' uplifting generative technology combined with the sudden overflow of scientific discoveries as they were brought up to the technological level of the Imperium would not only fix these catastrophes and many other of the world's problems, but would also usher in an age of unparalleled prosperity for the planet. Drawing on this momentum, the world would stay in an upward spiral of achievement all the way up to the Heresy and following Scouring, whereupon Velschierre and all its inhabitants were destroyed by the [[Stone Men]] fleet.
