===Medium Infantry=== *'''Daoying Operative Control Unit:''' Arguably one of the best lieutenants in the game. Camo keeps her safe, while Lieutenant L2 lets you spend two extra orders on a beefy beatstick or a single elite via NCO. The base LT loadout is the cheapest and is probably the best choice if you just want to power one of YJ's fantastic NCO options. The Hacker profile is solid and can use those 2 LT orders for late game objective rushes. The sniper provides an easy solution to an exposed enemy TR bot and gets Minelayer to hide and protect herself easier. *'''Hùndùn Ambush Unit:''' These hidden deployment troops make a mean ARO threat, especially the Heavy Rocket Launcher and the Multi Sniper. The shock marksman rifle profile is an extremely deadly active turn shooter, and an interesting counterpart to Lei Gong's Albedo shock marksman rifle. *'''Imperial Agent Adil Mehmut, Special Division:''' This character‘s packing a bunch of useful weapons and decent stats and skills to back them up, making him great in shooting and CC. On top of that he brings a specialist profile with Veteran or Chain of Command. Sensor comes in handy whenever you got to deal with a lot of Camo. *'''Jing Qo, the Shadow of Huangdi:''' This mid- to close-range fighter gets a bunch of resilience-traits, get her into CC to make your target dead. Climbing+ gives her table flexibility, letting her get on top of irritating enemy infiltrators hiding on rooftops. *'''Lei Gong, Invincibles Lord of Thunder:''' An A! alumni, Lei Gong has a highly optimized set of stats and provides some unique utility to Yu Jing. He's fast with 6-2 move, is an accurate BS13 MSV1 shooter, packs a Blitzen for long-range AROs or coordinated orders, is unhackable, and uniquely, has Albedo, meaning for the first round of the game, he is invisible to anybody with MSV. Both profiles are worth taking, with the SMR being a great budget shooter and the CoC a good specialist with WIP 14. *'''Sun Tze v.2 (Marksman Leader):''' Poor Sun Tze. N4 really gutted his skills, and the nature of N4 means he's just not as good as he used to be. Great model, unfortunate profile. *'''Tiger Soldiers:''' The infamous Yu Jing combat jump unit, Tigers would make great units even if they didn't show up in your opponent's DZ. Their stats and skills make them excellent at their job, and their profiles give you the right tool for most tasks. *'''Ye Mao Infantry:''' These guys get MSV1, Mimetism-3 and Super-Jump. They have a few neat loadouts, making them relatively flexible (but not really cost-effective). A profile worth mentioning is the Engineer with Panzerfaust and D-Charges, and the AP Spitfire is one of the cheapest, most effective ways to get a high-burst AP weapon in YJ. ====Mercenaries==== *'''Armand 'Le Muet,' Freelance Killer:''' Dude is a relentlessly aggressive trooper that beats down any enemy at any range and even has an extra wound to boot. While poor old Armand cannot remember which side he's truly on; he's still an irritating ARO piece because of his -6 Mimetism. He also comes with the option of either a shock minelayer to protect himself, or a MSV1. But that aside, Armand is great for an aggressive area-denying troop who does well in both active turn and ARO. *'''John Hawkwood, Mercenary Officer:''' The Boss of White Company comes with either a Red Fury or a K1 Marksman Rifle, and a Chain of Command profile. While his stats are pretty alright and his skills complement the loadouts well he's coming in very pricey -- notably, he's one of the few sources of K1 in Yu Jing, making him an extremely competent TAG killer.
