One of the first creations after [[moot]] passed the reigns of leadership of [[4chan]] to [[Mootwo]], /trash/ is a board without a subject for mods to move off-topic threads to rather than outright deleting them.

Once apon a time, Mootwo somehow came to the conclusion that off-topic threads on boards needed to continue. [[What|For some reason.]] So, Hiro created /trash/, a pasture where off-topic threads could be moved instead of being snuffed by the moderators... and before they died of old age. When it was created, people noticed that global rule 3 was not enforced on this board; this rule forces furry porn and guro to /b/, people could create threads here, and its name didn't appear in the board list. This combo meant that furry and pony porn threads were able to flourish without the chance of a /b/tard noticing a thread and vomiting pictures of actual vomit into them.
