Werejackals are one of the many, many breeds of therianthrope in Dungeons & Dragons. Specifically, they're part of the notable subgroup of werebeasts native to the Demiplane of Dread, having debuted in Ravenloft and with little if any presence outside of it. Ironically, their wolfwere analogue the Jackalwere is vastly more important in the history of D&D.
