Horus"Little Horus"Aximand was 5th captain of the Sons of Horus legion during the Great Crusade and a member of the Mournival alongside Garviel Loken, Tarik Torgaddon, and Ezekyle Abaddon. Known as a level headed and wise astartes, Aximand earned his place as 5th captain and later the Mournival during the late Great Crusade, fighting both in the battles of Sixty-Three-Nineteen, and on Murder against the Megarachnids. While Aximand was a loyal man to the ideals of the Emperor, he was corrupted by the warrior lodge institutions within the XIVth legion and followed his primarch to damnation in the hands of Chaos. He was the killer of Tarik Torgaddon although his haunted by his friends ghostly soul soon after. Later on the planet, Dwell, he got his FACE sliced off by Hibou Khan of the White Scars. After getting his face reattached, he hopped on the party bus to Terra, where during the fighting within the Saturntine wall, got eviscerated by Loken, freeing his soul.
You have probably noticed the disproportionate size of his blade. Forged on Cthonia, it was a relic power sword known as Mourn-it-all. Following his death, Loken took up the weapon.
