=Summary of Legion XXI=
=Warband History=
Numeration: The XXI Legion

Primogenator: Thoren Grimm (also known as "The Shatterer")
==Notable Members==

'''Lucian Wengar''' - Jarl of the 4th Félag of the 11th Bastion. Critically wounded during WAAAGH!Teefrippa after killing Warboss Teefrippa himself. After the battle, he was interred in a MK IV dreadnought.
Cognomen (Prior): Council of Iron

Observed Strategic Tendencies: Shock and Awe, Siege Tactics, Overwhelming Firepower.

Noteworthy Domains: Rasmus's World (Legion Homeworld).

Allegiance: Traitoris Perdita

==Legion Tactics==
The Iron Assembly specializes in shock and awe with overwhelming firepower thanks to their connections with the Adeptus Mechanicus.

==Legion Equipment==
Thanks to their affiliation with certain elements of the Adeptus Mechanicus during the Great Crusade, the Iron Assembly had access to larger stocks of Terminator armour and heavy weapons to the point where they could outfit heavy support infantry with Terminator armour and weapons. Since the Hektor Heresy, they're forced to rely on the unpredictable Dark Mechanicus and slaves to replenish or repair their stocks of terminator armour, which often lead to mishaps and other consequences.

==Legion Doctrine==
The Assembly does not bend. They are ridiculously stoic and utterly unfazeable. They are more stubborn than dwarves when their will is opposed. their Marines inevitable march towards their enemies while using some of the heaviest armament possible. best when harnessed as an offensive role instead of defensive.

==Legion Culture==
The Iron Assembly believes in loudness being an indicator of how powerful a person is. This in turn leads to them constantly shouting and affixing attachments on their guns to make them louder. They also are influenced by the primarily Scandinavian aspects of Rasmus' World (e.g. Praetors being referred to as Jarls, slaves being referred to as Thralls, high-ranking legionaries having horned helmets, etc.). They hold a Thing comprised of any Jarl willing to arrive to the event every century, where they discuss what they've encountered and other Legion related issues/disputes.

= Legion Organization =

The XXI Legion was formed into about 100 Chapters (Referred to by the legion as Félags) with 10 Leidangs (120 marine companies) in each Chapter. A Praetor (Jarl) leads each Félag, with the 10 Centurions (Also known in the legion as Chieftains) leading their Leidangs. Occasionally, the Jarl and the Chieftains may call for a meeting where they discuss plans for the present and martial progress within the Félag. Moving lower to the chain of command, the Leidangs consist of 10 squads of full Legionaries, 1 squad of Rampager Light Auxilia (explained in The Coming of The Emperor.), and 1 squad of veterans which the Chieftain commands.

==Sacred Band Members==

The Twenty-First Sacred Band members were:

= Thoren Grimm, Primarch of The Iron Assembly=

==Appearance==
Thoren isn't very tall among the Primarchs, but when he is in his custom armour, he stands at around 10ft tall, dwarfed only by a few of the taller primarchs and the Emperor himself. He has burgundy hair which he wears neck high and a beard which he braids. His personality leaves a lot to be desired, being unreasonable and easily angered.

==Youth==
Like his brother primarchs, Thoren was spirited away by the Chaos Gods to undetermined locations. Thoren's pod landed on Rasmus' World, an Industrial World that reverted to medieval-like culture and standards while leaving behind the powered-off mining equipment that the locals used to mine metals and minerals. Due to the local populace trying to figure out how to turn the machines back on, wars were being waged between multiple factions because of the abundant resources and unused technology. These wars were often bloody and counterproductive to the main reason as to why they waged the wars. However, with the arrival of Thoren's pod, things changed.

The faction once known as Knudsen's Rampagers had the fortune/misfortune of being the first ones to find Thoren in his pod. Back then, Knudsen's Rampagers were a mercenary group that protected a few villages from the other factions waging war on Rasmus' World. However, they had gone on the offensive and attacked too many factions at once, leading to the majority of the factions to wage war against Knudsen's Rampagers. One day, during a reprieve of fighting, Thoren's pod crash-landed nearby a Rampager patrol. After deeming it safe to touch, the bemused warriors examined it and tried to open it. After a while, they managed to open Thoren's pod and take Thoren with them as they went back to their headquarters to report this interesting find.

A week later, Knudsen himself came to see the "pod-child" that the patrol found. Expecting a week-old baby, he was face to face with a child that was stronger than average children and quickly growing to be an adult. Knudsen then told the patrol that found Thoren to teach him in subjects that pertained to the war and train him for combat. Naming the child Thoren Grimm, or "Thunder Child" in Rasmussic, the leader of the patrol adopted the child until the Rampagers could find out where he came from and why he arrived here.
==The Coming of The Emperor==
After being initiated into the Rampagers and trained in the art of war, Thoren was placed in a formation called the Leidang with his mentor and many other Rampagers.

While the war changed with the Rampagers gaining the advantage, another group was interested in the world. The XXI Legion, at the time the Council of Iron, had heard rumors of a Primarch fighting on Rasmus' World. While not versed in overwhelming firepower before encountering their Primarch, the Council of Iron was specialized in siege warfare. But when the Sacred Band assigned to the Council of Iron heard about this, they ordered the recovery and identification of the supposed Primarch from Rasmus' World. Thoren Grimm at the time was helping one of the Rampager Leidang formations breach a fortress and take it over when all of a sudden the sky brightened with the entry trails of the XXI Legion landing craft.
'''Valter Odenn''' - Thoren Grimm's adoptive brother and one of the first Iron Assembly legionaries to be recruited from Rasmus's World.

After seeing these newcomers, the captain in charge of the fortress begged for salvation to the legionaries who had just taken position on the ramparts.

Realizing their mistake, the veteran legionaries bowed to Thoren Grimm in shame for killing one of his friends. Angered by the display, Thoren yelled at them to stand up which started Thoren down the path of bitterness against people that he either didn't really appreciate including his fellow brothers. Thoren then went to take command of his Legion...and ordered them to help the Rampagers conquer the world. After a month of non-stop combat, the last remaining enemy factions surrendered and were taken as thralls to be forced to assist Knudsen and his Rampagers. Being proud of Thoren Grimm, Knudsen himself asked him if he and his Rampagers could join his legion. After getting the okay from Thoren and the Sacred Band, Knudsen's Rampagers lived on as the Rampager Light Auxilia, a formation that consisted of new recruits and veterans alike in recon armour that had no qualms about using whatever they could get their hands on in combat.

Warband Combat Doctrine

The Jernrådet specialize in shock and awe with overwhelming firepower thanks to their former connections with the Adeptus Mechanicus. The Rådet does not bend. They are ridiculously stoic and utterly unfazeable. They inevitably march towards their enemies while using some of the heaviest armament possible and are best when harnessed as an offensive role instead of defensive.

Warband Equipment

Thanks to their affiliation with certain elements of the Adeptus Mechanicus during the Great Crusade, the Rådet had access to larger stocks of Terminator armour and heavy weapons to the point where they could outfit heavy support infantry with Terminator armour and weapons. Since the Heresy, they're forced to rely on the unpredictable Dark Mechanicus and slaves to replenish or repair their stocks of terminator armour, which often lead to mishaps and other consequences.
