The spooky love child of Scar from the Lion King, Cain from the Scriptures and Bob Cratchet, Kurdoss "The Craven King" Valentian is a Nighthaunt character and Husband to Lady Olynder. In life, he was a ruthless deceiver, a master tactician that even Tzeentch would applaud for the amount of backstabbing and dickery he used to claw his way to the throne. Kurdoss also killed his own brothers to secure his rise to power. But, he made the ultimate mistake any monarch that lived in/around the Age of Myth could do; he did this AND chose Sigmar as his patron. And Old Bones did NOT like this.

So, to punish Kurdoss, he was struck dead just before he could ascend to the throne - literally at his coronation ceremony, sending him screeching down to the underworld as an angry wraith. But even then, he kept his nasty streak and was as deadly as ever. Nagash was impressed, but was still salty. And so, Kurdoss was betrothed to his wife, Lady Olynder, who was most definitely the dom in the relationship. He would never be allowed true rulership, was prevented from raising his voice above a whisper and was gifted several piss-taking gifts. These include a Scepter, a Crown, and a big floating throne complete with a pair of ghosts "heralds" that mock him loudly Statler and Waldorf style.
