Paradox Interactive (often shortened to Paradox) is a Swedish vidya gaem and tabletop publisher headquartered in Stockholm (sound familiar?) that is mainly known for 4X strategy games and lots of expensive DLC. They are relevant to /tg/ for two reasons: one, they make vidya many a fa/tg/uy likes, and two, they've owned White Wolf since 2015 and therefore are now stewarding its various TTRPG lines.

As far as AAA video game companies go, a love-hate relationship exists for the board, as while their absurd aggregate DLC costs are definitely fishing for whales and they've made questionable business decisions, they have a precedent of being chill with fan content, with them even supporting the TTS gang's WOD series after Geedubs went nuclear on fan animation.
