The Scouring Eye is the name given to the giant cyclopean eyes of the Necron Cryptothralls, not much is really known about these weapons other than the fact that the Cryptothralls can shoot them out like some sort X-Men Cyclops.
Seeing as how even Lexicanum lacks a page for these things, your guess on whether they are some sort of Gauss, Tesla or Enmitic Weapon is as good as ours.
