Summary of Legion XIX
Ranged specialists, craftsmen, Not!SouthEastAsians Paranoid, wary, and skittish by nature. Originally forced into helping the Traitors in return for not being destroyed, they regrettably participated in the drop site massacre, where they stayed behind in the second wave, and only gave firing support, concealing their true identity. Although many claims have been made and brushed off as false and traitors from the legion. They eventually turned on the Traitors, when they saw what had become of some of the cult marines under the sway of the chaos gods. Fearing that the same would happen to them, they broke off from the main traitor fleet and fled to mars, to help with the defense effort of the loyalist.
Everyone knows the Eyes weren't sent sent to Istanvaan by the Emperor and there are rumors among other found legions, especially the Knights of Justice, that the Eyes might have been firing on their brothers, but none of that is proven since any Knight who saw anything died there and the Eyes deny having shot at anybody but traitors.
with Half of the Legions bearing down on Terra, the Emperor decided that he would need all the forces at his side that he could get, and Octullus could provide help. So the Emperor issued a temporary pardon, in exchange for placing them in some of the most dangerous defensive positions, where they also wouldn't be able to cause any real harm to other, trusted loyalists, with a Trial to happen if everyone survives. But the Emperor falls before he can exact his punisment though though, and so it of falls to his brothers to take trial
Legion Tactics
the Eyes of the Emperor favored engaging their enemies at range, mostly focusing on heavy artillery, mechanical warfare and Sniping ability. As such, they spent a lot time crafting and maintaining equipment - they have gotten rather good at it. When presented a foe, they will become some what obsessed with it, trying to learn, understand and predict their targets moves to the extreme, playing a intricate game of battlefield chess as they continually deploy, redeploy and maneuver the battlefield, trying to get into their maximum range. They are ridiculed by some close combat oriented legions, but have a good relationship with the mechanicus, and were present in the defense of Mars. Many of their Astartes brethren distrust them and They are especially despised by Imperial Guard commanders, as they often, accidentally, treat the guard as a meat shield while they keep at a range. They are especially hated by most of the founding chapters due to their proposed betrayal.
- They are renowned for their large use of Scouts, Devastators and Whirlwind Missile Launchers, along with a impressive parking lot of Rhinos. They work in a three layer format, with scouts tying up the enemy and taking out high rank enemies. After then scouts, come small squads of Tacitcal marines, to wipe up the scattered forces. Then, comes a long line of Devastators, whose job is to ensure that any forces that the Scouts and tacticals deem unworthy or miss are wiped up. In the center or behind the line lays 20 Whirlwinds, or 50 for the first company, whose job is to utterly annihilate anything that comes within range. This formation is known as the Tītana starita dīvāra, or the Layered walls of the Titan.
Legion Equipment

Legion Doctrine
- Chaplains meditate in isolation for hours upon hours trying to commune with the Emperor. To ensure absolute bravery and loyalty, they take a upon them selves a surgery to remove all senses of fear and thoughts of betrayal, Attaching machinery to the brain to ensure so. They fear nothing, for fear is just a memory past to them
- Dreadnoughts are walking altars that rarely enter combat, instead awoken to remind the chapter of their legendary exploits. When they do, they are armred with missile launchers to prevent them from being damaged. They also have their former visage carved onto the front of the dreadnought so that all may look upon the Dreadnought and see the glory of those who are said to have found their Perfected State.
- Assault marines are actually based on a volunteer basis, and upon doing so, are considered dead until they get past their time volunteered. They must take up a vow of silence, and either take a regular bolter or dual wield dual chain hooks.
- Neophytes are paired up with a tactical to learn under the marines, and for each neophyte trained, they implant a veteran bolt in their fore head. They nay also use seals instead
- They are seven vows of purity that each neophyte must take to become a full fledged space marine. Each one concides with a organ except the last one, which is the bonding of the suit, neophyte and optic eye.
- Brothers are encouraged to consult every other marine under and above their command for advice on upcoming campaigns and other actions. Every decision is meditated upon, every deployment carefully considered to ensure maximum sucsess
- When fighting a opponent, they will usually plan days, weeks and months ahead to the very last second, and will base their plans on specifically how the enemy reacts. They are so well timed, there is cases of them firing with such timing, aim and precision, that they were able to kill entire flanks of enemy. They are famous for their saturation attacks as well, leading enemies into death traps of heavy weaponry
- Most marines spend their time in the Firing Range during their free time or working on their equipment, although a few do spend their time practicing in the fighting cages. Those are mostly assault marines, but rarely, you might see a terminator or Scout there as well. But all spend time in the Meditation chambers, where marines spend time to relax, meditate and recover from injuries of war.
- Due to the large amount of Bionics and tech marines in the chapter, Apothecaries are tied into the role of Tech marine, and are referred as a special sect in their ranks known as the Steel Eyed, and their master the Masters of The Scalpel.
- The Eyes do not follow the codex improved rotation of Devastator>Assault>Tactical. Instead, they follow a strict caste system, with their geneseed indicating their rank and role in the chapter. The ranks go as following: Tactical>Scout>Devastator>Vehicle Operator>Terminator> TechMarine>Captain>Chapter Master>Dreadnought>Venerable Dreadnought>Primarch. Chaplains and Assault marines excluded from the caste system, as any of the caste may become them.
- they are very ranged focus, due to their hyper sensative Occulobes that focuses on distant sights and , faulty catalespean nodes that make them sleep much less, and due to their resistance to brain washing, the anti fear programming doesn't take root too well. They rely on ranged combat and mechanized warfare, but have a few select assault squads to allow units to redeploy.

They reappeared during the battle of mars, and helped the loyalists. They primarily served as titan hunters, hunting down high priority targets and taking out dangerous war machines and anomalies. A few notable sub battles they took a part in was the Siege of The Magma City against the Sons of Fire, who wished to claim the city for their Daemonic Primarch. Also during the Battle of Oylmpus Mons, they fought off a company clan of the Thunder Kings, nearly decapitating the entire command council of the clan before sneaking into the halls of the Corrupt Lord Fabricator in the armor of the fallen Thunder kings. Welcomed at first, the Fabricator lord soon found him self with a Bolt shell between his eyes as the disguised opened fire. The second grand company was honored greatly due to their tragic defence of the Noctis Labyrinthus, where they continued to hold for three days with out support against the Bulwarks, Mastodnii, and Council of Iron. When they were eventually found, many were found buried underneath piles of enemies, still alive, but unable to move due to the weight of the dead upon them.
They were also acredited with the stopping of the Iron Rangers, Engaging them mid way to mars in fleet to fleet combat.
Post-Heresy
Their Current leaders consist of the Venerable Dreadnought Occhio, formerly a terminator, who distinguished himself by leading the Assault on a Relic Imperator Traitor Titan via teleporting to the gun turrets on the back of the vile War machine. There, he led his squad deep into the machine itself, fighting wave after wave of cultists and traitor brethren. Eventaully, he made it into the control command throne room, and fought the Arch Heretic in a brutal duel. Eventually, Occhio overwhelmed the traitor and smashed his Assault Cannons Barrel into the Traitors face and unto delivered the wrath of the Emperor. But this did not end the threat, as the Rouge Machine spirit of the titan lashed out at Occhio, and casted the terminator out of the main view ports. He was recovered, badly wounded but alive, and placed into a Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought.
