Summary of Legion VII
Disciplined, tactically-adaptable, brave
Legion Tactics
Hailing from a Greco-Roman inspired culture, the Scions are defined primarily by their bravery and their combination of discipline and tactical flexibility, allowing them to work well both as a single Legion and in conjunction with others, coordinating the strengths of the Legions with each other in combined engagements. However, their bravery has proved to be a double-edged sword, as they refuse to retreat unless under the most dire of circumstances, so they suffer higher losses than normal. Their emphasis on tactical flexibility results in higher numbers of Tactical Squads, and all marines in the Legion are trained in basic proficiency of all standard weapons. For some reason, they lack psykers among their ranks.
Legion Equipment
Their bronze-painted armor, trimmed with gold and cloaked in red, is an homage to the old Terran warriors of Europa.

Legion Doctrine
Construct battle-plan from initial scout reports, and strike, with a well-rounded force of aerial assaults, drop pod, and ground transport - in short, deploy and destroy. If the situation calls for it, all squad and company leaders possess the ability to change tactics as needed during an engagement or campaign. Never retreat unless the circumstances are absolutely dire.
Kleisthenes, Primarch of The Scions of Europa
Appearance
Average height and bulk by Primarch standards, short light-brown hair, and deep-set grey eyes, lending him with a focused countenance. he was a man who carried himself with an air of determination and authority. His armor and power sword is patterned in the color scheme of his legion, polished bronze with gold trim. His sword, Dawnbreaker,is a hand-and-a-half power sword with a shining adamantine blade and a handguard fashioned in the shape of a bronze eagle.
Youth
Kleisthenes' gestation pod landed on the planet Europa, a Civilized World named after a continent of ancient Terra that possessed a Greco-Roman culture and fairly advanced technology - though the secrets of Warp travel had been lost - with varying empires and republics. Kleisthenes was adopted by an aristocratic family of the rising Vitruvian Empire and was given a patrician's education, learning history, rhetoric, art, statesmanship, and warfare, excelling in all fields, but particularly the last. His fast maturation and great strength was not unnoticed, and it was not long before Kleisthenes became a great general in the empire's armies, leading them to great victories against the other powers of Europa. When civil war broke out in the Vitruvian Empire, Kleisthenes managed to swiftly reunite the empire with himself as its ruler, and in the following years managed to unite all of Europa under under his rule.
The Coming of The Emperor
It was not long after Kleisthenes united his planet under the banner of the newly-christened Europan Empire that the Emperor of Man arrived to find His son, offering him a place at his side and a Legion of Astartes to lead on His Great Crusade throughout the galaxy. Kleisthenes accepted immediately, eager to meet his long-lost brothers and journey out into the stars which had beckoned to him all his life. All he asked was that the Emperor let the great soldiers of Europa join his legion on the Crusade, and the Emperor, seeing the fine warriors that Kleisthenes had conquered his planet with, agreed. Kleisthene's soldiers were made into Astartes, and hence the Scions of Europa were born.
The Great Crusade
Kleisthene's first years of the Crusade were spent both partly at the side of the Emperor and at the side of his fellow Primarchs. He led his armies with skill, creativity, and bravery, molding them into the Astartes we know today. Kleisthenes made good friends with many of his brothers, and was present with them at the Triumph of Ullanor, the height of their glory ... Kleisthenes could not have known how soon many of their friendships would fall to ruin.
The Heresy
Kleisthenes and his Scions of Europa were fortunate enough not to be one of the legions betrayed in the Drop Site massacre, and as such, fought ferociously throughout the rest of the Hektor heresy, culminating at the Siege of Terra, where the Scions fought alongside the Crusaders, Thunder Kings, and many others against the Traitor legionss. Kleisthenes played his greatest role in the Heresy during the final confrontation between the Emperor - joined by Kleisthenes and his fellow Primarch, Thomas Gaudin - and Warmaster Hektor aboard the traitor's flagship, the Sun Chariot. When Kleisthenes and Hektor fought, Kelisthenes was mortally wounded by Hektor, but not before placing the apocryphal flaw in Hektor's armor, allowing the Emperor to achieve victory over his traitorous son one and for all.
Post-Heresy
After the battle aboard the Sun Chariot, Kleisthenes' body was recovered along with the Emperor's by Thomas Gaudin, and was placed in a stasis chamber. Caught in a state between life and death, the Primarch now lies on his home planet of Europa, eternal vigil kept over him by his Scions.
