Well after the last writer went and hid away in the bathtub I finish where he left off, When the slaugth do eat brains they actually absorb the brains information on say where the best gardens for them to devour those sweet, sweet, overripe tomatoes are, and then find where slug repellent factory is so they can enact reve... The slaugth are Aliens that look like swarms of maggot wearing black robes, and to make them preform a hostile takeover of your dreams tonight, use masks to hide their "beautiful" "faces" they stay hidden in obscure places like deep within lowest part of hive worlds like demons, they are ancient but it's unknown how old they actual are or where their homeworld is, {for all we know they could actually be older than the universe, with a description like that I don't think it would be far off.} they also like too give tech to greedy politicians and governors as a way to cause political disarray as a way to soften up the PDF. Also praying to yog sothoth that they get their own codex but chances are that'll happen when when Games workshop truly runs out of ideas so probably right after the Sergals and Corgyn get their own armies and will probably have mutilated chakats that are used as psychic batteries with most of pleasure parts of their brain infected by nano machines and then used as death rays to cook infantry to the point of mulch, because games workshop has ran out ideas.

in all honesty with all the obscure factions like genestealer cults and skitarii gitting their own armies it wouldn't be surprising. most likely that would mean that rak'gols and Hrud would also get a dex, one day.
