Slayers is an animu that began way back in 1995 when most animus weren't about lolis and food and still had some WIN left in them. It follows the adventures of the absurdly overpowered sorceress Lina Inverse and her companions: The idiot Gourry, the chimera Zelgadis, the princess Ameila, and in the movies and OVA - the sorceress Naga (notable for her huge tits and annoying laughter). The anime looks and feels like a dream version of Dungeons and Dragons, without the LAWL RANDUM Chaotic Neutral players, the jackasses and the rule lawyers.
