Also known as "Deep Gnomes," these are gnomes that live in the Underdark. Unlike the [[Drow]] and [[Duergar]], Deep Gnomes are usually some variant of Neutral in alignment, rather than Evil. Svirfneblin are usually more taciturn and paranoid than their surface cousins, as they live in, you know, the Underdark.
