Treerazer began life under another demon lord, Cyth-V'sug, who elevated Treerazer to nascent demon lord after doing "something" impressive. As demons do, he rebelled against his dad, and somehow got into Golarion and is completely disconnected from the Abyss. Wandering the world during the Age of Darkness, a thousand-year period of darkness caused by meteor impacts (this dinosaur is not going out from that), he traveled the world until he found the land of Kyonin, the elvish homeland who had left Golarion for greener pastures at the time. Treerazer, learning of their Sovyrian Stone, then thought "I could terminate a portal to the abyss with that". The elves learned of this and went running back into the sunless wasteland to stop Treerazer and chase him into Tanglebriar swamp.
Treerazer was content to dig into his new home, making himself an elvish boogyman.
