The floor is lava

A Traditional Game which requires no character generation, dice, or new editions. Basically, the floor is declared to be some substance of dangerous quality, notably lava. 4th Edition replaced the Lava with acid for no goddamn reason. Usually pillows are considered safe as are furniture cushions. Becomes much easier when you're tall enough to need not jump between pieces of furniture. For bonus points you should try one of more of the following:

Play while drunk Play at school / work Don't tell anyone you're playing, or if asked respond only with "THe FLooR iS LaVa!" Play at the site of an active volcano
