The Heresy

The Warhammer 40,000 Fanon Wiki is, as the name suggests, a wiki devoted entirely to fan based works regarding 40k. At first glance, such a thing resembles an amusing little diversion.

On closer glance, it reveals a den of insanity, heresy and disease.

While not all articles are entirely made of fail, many are, and in such a manner as to be hilarious to the extreme. As well, the userbase seems to be comprised mainly of 16 year old boys with delusions of grandeur (a few claiming to have "psychic powers".). At least two admins dating back from the old days have admitted to only being around to troll the newer users. At one point, long ago, the wiki wasn't so bad, but now it is a hive of scum and villainy. The amount of Mary Sue space marine chapters is ridiculous, lacking any form of readability. Just look at the Blaze Ravens, fluff-raping so bad, we made the Blaz Ravens chapter just to mock it.

Their front page claims "... here you can expand on the canon without contradicting it." Yeah...

It must also be noted that the Fanon Wiki has specific pages marked as "humour" - this implies that the rest are supposed to be taken seriously. Which is most humourous of all.
