Webcomics
>
Webcomics are comics on the Internet.
Well, that was easy. Why does /tg/ care, then?
Because a whole host of webcomics are inspired by, written for, or are loved by the vast majority of /tg/. Below is a list of /tg/-related and -approved webcomics.
List of Webcomics
- Turn Signals on a Land Raider: Considered by many to be the definitive Warhammer 40,000 webcomic, TSoaLR is a series of vignettes related to the game. Fortunately, after a long hiatus, the comic appears to be back on track.
- Order of the Stick: One of the most popular webcomics period, OotS is a parody of Dungeons & Dragons and a pastiche of fantasy in general. It is also quite a skub topic on /tg/.
- Servants of the Imperium: A relative newcomer, SotI is basically Order of the Stick in the Warhammer 40,000 universe (specifically Dark Heresy).
- Love Can Bloom: Not a full webcomic but rather the one-off product of a drawfag, the single strip Love Can Bloom spawned one of the most well-known pieces of writefaggotry on /tg/.
- Perry Bible Fellowship: A surrealist webcomic of one-off strips, PBF is mostly famous on /tg/ for inventing the words weeaboo and skub.
- Slut Patrol: A short-lived but nonetheless well-loved webcomic, Slut Patrol was (yet another) Warhammer 40k comic (albeit with a notably more realistic art style).
- Witch Girls Adventures: WGA is an RPG system and accompanying webcomic that's basically a ripoff of Harry Potter.
- EATATAU!: Popular on the Advanced Tau Tactica forums, EATATAU is an ongoing webcomic about the Tau Empire, although the dialogue is frequently incomprehensible, due to a poor translation from Spanish to English. Depending on your thoughts on the Tau, it's either awesome or terrible, but in either case, it's very weeaboo.
- Da Real Wurld 40k: Da Real Wurld 40k was a webcomic that mixed a variety of sitcoms and reality TV shows with Warhammer 40,000. However, it's more-or-less dead now.
- Darths And Droids: In this webcomic, Star Wars doesn't exist as a movie franchise but is an RPG. Each comic is a series of screen caps from the DVDs, starting first with the prequels then moving on to the original trilogy, with a variety of tips and tricks for beginning GMs . Beware, legions of /tg/: hilarity will ensue.
- MS Paint Adventures: But perhaps more importantly, Homestuck specifically. If you don't know what this is, just ask around. Many people will gladly tell you about Homestuck.
- Prequel Adventure: Mainly known as Making a Cat Cry: The Webcomic, Prequel focuses on a Khajiit girl in the Elder Scrolls universe. It is a forum-driven adventure in the MSPA style, but incorporates a lot from Oblivion, and genre-savvy roleplayers keep the comic more /tg/-related than Obli/v/ion related.
- Double K: What Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann would be like if it were a buddy cop show. Hell yes. Only here because /tg/ loves TTGL more than they let on.
- Oglaf: A comical NSFW fantasy comic.
- Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic:, yes that is its actual name. It updates quite regularly and has been around for years, so its pretty long. It is clearly based off dungeons and dragons. Contains some NSFW.
- Rogue Trader - Rites of Flight [1] (currently being edited).
- Zero Space - Also called Skirmish Quest.
- Zombie Quest
- Verloren Hoop [2], by Coolexus.
- Bok the Neutral [3], still Coolexus.
- Cases of the Hives [4], fukken Coolexus.
- Exterminatus Now - A complete perversion of mixing the Inquisition with the Sonic universe.
- Sonichu - This does not exist. Any further mention of this non-existent webcomic will be shot. Yes, you read that correctly.
- A Space Marine Life [5] - A webcomic about a Warhammer 40,000 fan-girl suddenly finding herself in the Warhammer 40k universe.
- Regular Marine [6] - Brought to you by the guys who gave you Kaldor Draigo's warp dust addiction. This aught to be good.
- Axe-Cop
- Goblins
