The Szarekhan Dynasty was the dynasty of the last Silent King, Szarekh, so you know these guys don't fuck around. They were relatively slow to wake up despite the fact that they were one of the preeminent and most powerful Necron Dynasties during the War in Heaven.
Moreover, ol' Silent King over there decided to go on a 60 million-year-long exile over the whole "being responsible for turning his species into soulless shells of their former selves" thing, which led the state of the Dynasty to decay whilst others like the Sautekh Dynasty laughed their merry way to the top of the galactic food chain.
Well, the good news is that the Silent King is back along with the Dynasty and Imotekh the Stormlord has some explaining to do.
History[edit | edit source]
As aforementioned, this Dynasty used to be one of the top dogs amongst the Necrons during the War in Heaven. However, after that fiasco in murderfucking the old folks home and turning their Gods into Pokemon, the last Silent King felt a bit moody and decided to pick most of his boys on an intergalactic camping trip for a 60 million-year-old break. Allegedly, he was seeking a way to undo the biotransference process, but we know fuck all about what that would have involved, assuming it's even possible. For all we know, he was searching for a retirement home.
Anyways, this continued until Szarekh discovered that the local Galaxy cluster had a bit of a pest problem, which alerted the Silent King to go back to his hometown to unite his bros back. Unfortunately for Szarekh, leaving his house abandoned for 60 million years kind of made him into a negligent ruler, so his Dynasty was promptly attacked by Eldar, and then by other embittered Necrons of other Dynasties who felt that the Silent King abandoned them, whoops!
Despite all this, once the rest of the Necrons of his old dynasty heard that old big boy was returning, they immediately shat their metallic pants and paid fealty to Szarekh, hoping that he won't shove a Necrodermis powerfist up their Necrodermis asses.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- An interesting fact is that Szarekh was so paranoid about the Warp, that he basically pulled a Blood Ravens on the rest of the Necrons by hoarding all the Blackstone and implemented them on his soldiers. Yes, the most basic troop in the Dynasty can resist Warp attacks.
