Chaosium is a Game company founded in 1975 by game Designer Greg Stafford and is most famous for the RPG's Call of Cthulhu and Runequest and the Basic Roleplaying System.
The Games[edit | edit source]
- Call of Cthulhu: THE cosmic horror game. Percentile based RPG with characters who can lead nasty brutish and short lives. (If played by people who are too used to Dungeons and Dragons and similar RPG's)
- Runequest: Chaosiums original RPG. Batshit insane fantasy world notable for not using Tolkein as its main inspiration.
- 7th Sea: The most swashbuckling game you'll ever buckle your swash to. Put your team of Inigo Montoyas together and one liner your way through Fantasy Europe.
- Pendragon: Noble Knights nobly questing on Noble quests for Uther Pendragon, your lady-love or the Church. Basically a bunch of DnD paladins not having to worry about the rogue or the Bard fucking things up in every town they visit.
- Wurm: A system-lite French RPG set in the last Ice Age. Translated into English so no need to go and learn French to play it.
- Aquelarre: A Spanish RPG, translated into English, set in a fantasy version of the 14th and 15th century Iberian Peninsula.
