What's All This Then?[edit | edit source]

Inspired by Codex - Adeptus Ministorum /tg/ Edition and the resurgence of Enforcers (revealed they're not explicitly Arbitrators, they had better things to do than engage in minor gang wars) return to Necromunda, one anon decided to make a codex for the Adeptus Arbites, complete with named characters, stratagems, and all the fun stuff a codex comes with. The result is presented here for your games with Inquisition, Genestealer Cults, and the like.

The Adeptus Arbites are a short-ranged, melee shock army. They specialize in getting close to the enemy and locking them down with penalties to hit rolls, Leadership, and Morale. Despite being S/T 3, they punch higher than their Imperial Guard/Storm Trooper counterparts with S4 shotguns/S+1 chainaxes shock mauls as a standard weapon and easy access to shields which improve their armor saves.

What Does This Codex Include?[edit | edit source]

Where Can I Get It?[edit | edit source]

Where Can I Get Miniatures For Some Of These Units?[edit | edit source]

  • There's always the option of looking on eBay for some classic Necromunda models and buying those, but that's usually expensive as fuck, even for a single squad of Arbites.
  • Thanks to GW making Skitarii, Genestealer Cults, and Imperial Guard (especially Storm Troopers!) infantry models generally compatible with eachother, it's not difficult to make conversions for your line infantry, such as Patrol teams or Execution teams, and to have their special weapons. Bolters and shotguns can be found in various kits, but you're probably better off buying a box of bits off of eBay. If you use Guardsmen for your base units, Victoria Miniatures sells packs of additional armor to make your flak armor look more like carapace armor. They also sell assault shields. In addition, Genestealer Cult Atalan Jackals and Jackal Alphuses can be kitbashed to make your Rapid Pursuit Teams or Biker Judges. No word yet on how cross-compatible any of these bits are with Necromunda Enforcers, though.
  • If you want to get a little fancy with your shotguns, ArtelW makes some perfect Arbites shotguns. Anvil Industries also has many different options for shotguns. None look quite like an Arbites shotgun, unfortunately, so just pick your favorite (though the Trench Shotgun and KSG can be ordered with arms). Victoria Miniatures also offers a simple shotgun with arms attached.
  • Official Enforcer models are finally here! If you don't want to use them, though, regular old Guardsmen work just fine.
  • Many different people have made their own guides to making Adeptus Arbites miniatures. These work fine for both your characters and your rank-and-file Arbitrators. If you run into any issues with these guides, you can always turn to the good anons at WIP
  • Scotia Grendel's Junkers army in Urban Warfare make for damn fine Arbites models, and many of them come with shields to easily use for shock teams and characters.
  • PuppetsWar makes some Chevaliers heads and Executioner heads which look perfect for Arbitrator heads. Their Light Bikers and Heavy Bikers are also excellent alternatives to kitbashing your own Rapid Pursuit Teams.
  • ArtelW makes a wide range of high quality 40k models, including Shira Calpurnia, Godwyn Fischig, cyber-mastiffs, and arbitrators with shields and shock mauls or traditional shotguns and boltguns.
  • Victoria Miniatures sells an excellent range of Penal Guard models you can easily use for your Penal Legionnaires, complete with explosive collars!
  • Chimadons can be built with a simple Chimera conversion with a Taurox or Leman Russ Battle Cannon and removing the lasgun arrays. Remember to give it an overpriced but appropriately sized dozer blade.
  • If you don't want to pay too much for a Repressor off of eBay, you've got a few options. Ramshackle Games makes a decent APC with a raised copula-weapon that can count as a grenade launcher or a storm bolter, and throwing on an overpriced but appropriately sized dozer blade. You can also kitbash one with a Rhino using plasticard and the like.
  • Many of the other vehicles (Rhino, Chimera, Sentinels, Tarantulas, Valkyries) can be simply made from their Space Marine/Imperial Guard counterparts.
