Kriesha, also called Kriestal and Karesha, is the Cerilian goddess of winter and monsters, and the patron of the Vos alongside Belinik.

History

Kriesha was originally a high priestess of Azrai among the Vos, and the other of the dark gods champions. When the gods died at Mount Deismaar, Kriesha absorbed a portion of Azrai's power and ascended alongside Belinik.

Appearance

Kriesha often appears as a tall, beautiful, pale woman carrying a mace made of ice. Her face and eyes are cold, showing no compassion or mercy. She's also known to appear as a great white wolf or as an ice elemental.

Worshippers

Followers of the Winter Witch are mainly women, in Vosgaard her clerics and worshippers are all women, but exceptions are found in other lands. Her followers are loyal to her and her churches first, and those who aren't are destroyed through fear tactics and threatened to be brought back as undead servants. Midwinter month is holy to the Ice Lady, being celebrated in Vos lands with tests of strength, endurance, and loyalty, fasting, and finished with a feast to thank their gods.

Kriesha's churches are mainly found in the northern lands of Cerilia, meaning Vosgaard, Brechtür, and the Rjurik Highlands. In Vosgaard her clerics act wise women for the tribes, ensuring they have everything needed to survive in their lands and overcome their enemies. They often work with money, ensuring that the tribes have access to weapons, resources, and "friends" on the otherside, and keep an eye on everyone and test their loyalties.

Great White Church of Karesha

The church in the Realm of the White Witch. Controlled by the White Witch, it's the only church with any power in the domain.

Temple of Might

One of the two main churches in Vosgaard. They worship both Belinik and Kriesha, with every order leaning towards one or the other, leading to many conflicts between them.

White Hand of Kriestal

The church in the Vampire's Realm. Has also started to gain a following in the eastern lands of Danigau.

Winter Witches

The church in Grabentod. Lead by Chespola Fröschen, the church has come to the domain from the eastern Vos lands, but less followers than the faiths of Éla and Neira.

Winter Wolves

Priests of Kriesha who live in the wilderness of Vosgaard and aren't affiliated with any of the temples. They act as their goddesses vengeance, sending large packs of wolves upon whoever has earned their goddesses wrath.
