Mythic Vistas is the name of a series of splatbooks for Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition released by Green Ronin, covering a mixture of Historical Fantasy and Ethnic Fantasy mini-settings. Most, but not all, are identified by their own distinct snazzy logo on the book, but a few were retconned into the series by Green Ronin.

Titles[edit | edit source]

The Black Company: Setting conversion sourcebook for the titular series of Dark Fantasy novels. Had a tie-in supplement called Thieves of the Silver Spike, which was a bundle of NPCs.

Damnation Decade: Historical Fantasy of an unusual kind; intended for use with d20 Modern rather than Dungeons & Dragons, this book provides a pre-apocalyptic mid/late 1970s America setting inspired by the B-movies of the era.

Egyptian Adventures: Hamunaptra: Ethnic Fantasy setting based on Egypt, able to play on its own or be dropped into a wider campaign world as its Egypt analogue. Has one of the most hilarious subversions of the "infertile elves" trope ever; because Hamunaptran elves are the chosen of Isis, the Mother Goddess, they can successfully crossbreed with anything. Except halflings, because they are the chosen of Osiris.

Eternal Rome: Historical Fantasy setting based on Rome, from its birth to its fall. Forms a linked universe with the other Bronze Age HF books in this series - Testament and Trojan War.

Medieval Player's Manual: Historical Fantasy based on Medieval Europe.

Mindshadows: Ethnic Fantasy setting based on Southwest Asia. Heavy focus on psionics.

The Red Star Campaign Setting: Setting conversion sourcebook for the titular series of comicbooks, which take place in a world where the USSR has been conquered from within by a sorcerous overlord. Had an adventure for 1st level PCs released called Escape from Bahamut.

Sidewinder: Recoiled: In case you can't figure it out from the name, this is a Western-themed Historical Fantasy.

Skull & Bones: Historical Fantasy set in the Caribbean during the height of the Golden Age of Piracy.

SpirosBlaak: Stand-alone Dark Fantasy mini-setting focusing on an archduchy overrun by lycanthropes in a world where the gods have fallen.

Testament: Roleplaying in the Biblical Era: Historical Fantasy based on playing in, well, Bronze Age Upper Africa, letting you live out your dream of using D&D to roleplay adventures in the Biblical Era. Had the tie-in expansion book Testament: The Hittites, which added the titular ethnic group to the cultural mixpack.

Testament: The Hittites: An expansion-pack for Testament that adds the Hittites to the cultural mix.

Trojan War: Roleplaying in the Age of Homeric Adventure: Historical Fantasy setting for Bronze Age Greece.
