The Ancestral Choir is a deity worshipped in the domain of Kartakass in the Dungeons & Dragons setting of Ravenloft. It is one of several deities who were created for the 3rd edition run of the game to minimize direct references to other settings, having originally begun as a cult of the minor Forgotten Realms deity Milil. A minor religion, it was covered in the Ravenloft Gazetteer I.
The Cult of the Ancestral Choir is not actually so much a singular deity as a form of ancestral worship; believers hold that dead humanoids join the Ancestral Choir, where they are tasked with singing the world into shape, while animals go to the Dark Forest, where they do pretty much what they'd normally do without human interference. While everyone joins the Choir, the wicked are doomed to always have their contributions drowned out, no matter how hard they sing.
