The Exodite is the name of a short, entirely fan-made animation of Space Marines, Eldar and Tau forces. Two teasers have been released. Normally in 40K lore an 'Exodite' means a Eldar faction which have self exiled themselves and live on remote Maiden worlds. No usage of the term Exodite is used for Space Marine and Tau forces.

Feb 2022 GW trailer for 'Warhammer +'. Showing a Void battle between the Imperial Navy and the Tau fleet. Its a beautiful mass of beam, volleys and missile fire from all directions (clearly a nod to Battlestar Galactica space battles).

One viewer's review here: excellent CGI of course and it gets the atmosphere of 40k down pretty well. Leans a little heavily into the whole "Tau are naive and stupid space weebs who can't melee" thing...Seriously they spew Greater Good lines at each other and die like crazy at every opportunity (including one of them forgetting to double tap a downed Krieger and getting a trench mace to the dome). Followed by their leader abruptly going from "b-b-but the greater good senpai" to "I'm gunna tackle you into the webway with my battlesuit nerd!" during a discussion with the bereaved (and remarkably genre aware) Eldar. This ends poorly for said Tau (just as planned). The Eldar ends up being promoted(?) into the role of a Harlequin Death Jester (for super powered dickery) and the Tau...finds herself in Commoragh. The land of milk and honey...er...I mean the land of rape, spikes, spikey rape and maniacal laughter. RIP Tau squad leader. In summation. Imperium = superior to Tau weebs. Tau Weebs = powerful with guns but dumber then a kumquat/rutabaga hybrid, and the Eldar know everything and dick everyone else over at the first opportunity. So...business as usual. Carry on.
