WAAAGH! Rok'Ed
Status at the end of the Great Crusade Got beat but some of da boyz did udder stuf
Area of influence Seg- Segum- da bit to da left!

WAAAGH Rok'Ed was a shambolic armada of greenskins that rampaged through the Segmentum Pacificus towards the close of the first century of the Great Crusade.

History[edit | edit source]

As is often the case with Orks, the precise origins of Warlord Rok'Ed are a complete mystery. Imperial forces only became aware of his activities when the feral beast was almost upon them, flush with loot from the Realm of Omegon and spoiling for another fight. Were it not for the cunning of Fifth Legion and the intervention of the Eldar of Craftworld Meros, WAAAGH! Rok'Ed could have been a serious setback for Imperial operations in the Segmentum Pacificus. As it was, the hard fighting of the Latoti Crusade almost broke the Fifth Legion and cost Meros one of its greatest heroes.

Leaders[edit | edit source]

Among the Orks, a leader is recognised mostly for size and ferocity, but those who lack for cunning do not last long. Below is a sampling of the Orkish bosses who led WAAAGH! Rok'Ed:

  • Warlord Rok'Ed, styled "Da Lootah of Lootahz". It is generally believed that the Warlord's epithet reflects his activities during his rise to power. Certainly Rok'Ed was unusually fixated on gathering loot, even beyond than the usual Orkish fascination with "more dakka".
  • Mek Boss Orkenheimer. Considered an "egg-sen-trik" among his peers, Orkenheimer was just as interested in "big booms" as he was in "dakka". However, the Mek's crudeness did not detract from his genius and his high explosive devices caused mass destruction. The only consolation for beleaguered Imperial forces was that Orkenheimer's devices were just as prone to going off before time and causing carnage among the greenskins.
  • Gran Marshul Gorecuttah. A conniving Blood Axe who found his way into Rok'Ed's inner circle.
  • Burgrog da Beetraya. So black was Burgrog's reputation as a treacherous git that he became a boss without boyz. Ever resourceful, the Ork patiently tamed feral buzzsquigs by hitting them until they did (more or less) what he wanted.

Mobz[edit | edit source]

Every WAAAGH! is a motley of different Orkish warbands. As with the list of leaders above, the mobz mentioned here are only a small sample of the whole:

  • Rok'Ed's Ard'Eds were the personal bodyguard of the Warlord. A bullying bunch of toughs who spent as much time pushing around smaller Orks as they did fighting other species, the Ard'Eds were nonetheless a feared unit on the battlefield.
  • Gorecuttah's Spidahs
  • 'Edbangerz stormboyz
  • Chugzod 'n' Ko
  • Skarwakkah's Bushwakkahs
