/tg/ 40,000

/tg/ 40,000 is a collective name for the various fa/tg/uy projects to produce fluff for the Warhammer 40,000 universe. It does not include memetic jokes like the Angry Marines, but it's also not the "canonical" 40k universe (not that canon counts for much in 40k). The majority of the current projects are Chapters created using the Chapter Creation tables from Deathwatch: Rites of Battle, although there's quite a few other forces that have been fluffed up for a variety of factions. The main setting is the Tiji Sector, although most of the Chapters and other forces aren't "officially" part of Tiji.
Needless to say, this is one of /tg/'s most sacred hobbies.
Tiji Sector

After the release of Deathwatch: Rites of Battle, /tg/ quickly flung itself at the chapter creation rules and began to produce a huge number of chapters, most notably the Knights Inductor and Angry Marines. Ranging from the xenophobic Eyes of Mordred, to the heroic Abyssal Jaws, to the pathetic Flesh Helms, Space Marine chapters are the most common creation by fa/tg/uys, with the brotastic Emperor's Nightmare undoubtedly being the most popular (having a vast amount of fluff written for them). However, many of the chapters are lacking in fluff, most notably the Emperor's Bears, whose one and only thread was lost to the warp (everyone forgot to archive it). Everything put on the internet, stays on the internet. We gots teh archive.
