Yet another C-word Cruiser, the Comet is more than just a Cromwell with a 17-pdr, but a redesign that addresses the flaws of its predecessor, being heavier, more reliable and incorporating a redesigned 17-pdr that actually properly fits inside the tank rather than being haphazardly mounted as an afterthought.
