Mindwitch

The Mindwitches are a special type of Rogue Psykers that is far more experienced and far more steeped in daemonic shenanigans.
Overview[edit]
These guys are pretty identifiable with their bizarre floating head contraption that they always put in front of them. They form one of the key members of a Dark Commune. Unless the Mindwitch is the mounted head, and the poor bastard behind it acts both as the carrier and circulatory system. We don't know yet, but we doubt the piping between arms and head are some new style of liquid cooling.
As of a recent Warhammer Community article, it is confirmed the head is the Mindwitch and the other guy is an unlucky cultist. It is likely the cultist is acting as both a mobile living blood transfusion bag and a psychic host to dump excess Warp energy. Talk about a shit job.
For more points than a sorcerer, you get half the selection from the Hereticus discipline, and they're weaker than an Imperial Guardsman. Seriously, for a so-called 'exerpienced' Psyker, it only knows Smite and one other psychic power from the Dark Hereticus discipline. That's it.
Talk about a lame and disappointing set of powers. You would expect that a giant floating head would no more than just two spells am I right? But no, gimp this overpriced floating Halloween decoration and try to put him in an already overpriced but underpowered faction. Because Chaos players just love to have a bunch of useless units on the tabletop. You’re honestly better off just getting a sorcerer for what it’s worth.
