Excruciatus Cadre

The Silent Sisterhood are more than warriors and cute mute girls that can carve a Dreadnought like a pumpkin for Halloween; they are also experts in hunting and investigating potential heresies. Charged to root out that which is hidden, tear through webs of lies and superstitions and leave no stone unturned in their ceaseless task to find the supposed Psyker. Seriously, you thought the Inquisition was a bunch of stubborn bastards? These chicks make them look like chumps. The Excruciatus Cadres are made up of four Questoras and one Silent Judge.

Overview

In the event of a conspiracy to conceal one of the 'witch-born', be it through the wayward love of close family, the workings of a malign cult or even a whole rebellious world's contempt for or disruption of the Imperial Tithe, the Excruciatus Cadres of the Silent Sisterhood are deployed to ensure that the individuals involved are brought to Imperial Justice and that the rightful tithe is retrieved. In a way they act as the de facto secret police of the Silent Sisterhood.

Specialists selected from the ranks of the Sisterhood for their highly attuned perception, quick wits and unfailing purpose, the Silent Judges of such cadres can identify the presence of nearby psyker phenomena, sift truth from lies and, where needed, put those unfortunate enough to fall under their death stares to the question and wring forth answers from the most intransigent witness or conspirator. "Wring forth" meaning brutally torture and interrogate until they confess if it wasn't obvious. Nor is their work confined to the interrogation chamber, they are paramilitaries trained and equipped to carry out raids and tactical assaults against the most fanatical and nightmarish of foes, and carry an often esoteric array of weapons and equipment uniquely suited for the task.

In terms of armaments, they are allowed access to a wide variety of the death rainbow. The Questora is traditionally armed with a CCW (Power Weapon or Chain Weapon) alongside Bolt Pistols, Assault Needlers and a plethora of Psyk-Out Grenades, Frag Grenades and Krak Grenades. However, she can also upgrade her weapons with a Adrathic Destructor.

The Silent Judge meanwhile, is armed with a Needle Pistol and a Power Weapon. Nevertheless, she can swap out her standard weapons with a Neuro-Lash, Executioner's Greatblade, Stake Crossbow, Hand Flamer, Plasma Pistol or another Needle Pistol. Both these chicks can swap out their weapons with a Snare Gun, a Flamer or a Charnabal Sabre.

Also...see the chick in the red to right? You get those eye implants by personally burning over 500 witches. Which is pretty brutal, even by Warhammer standards.

Pray they don't take you alive that the S&M fapfics don't start using these chicks instead of the Dark Eldar.

Crunch

On the Horus Heresy, they are something akin to a command squad, this is a squad of WS4 BS4 I4 Ld9 ladies with tools, with the Silent Judge having 2 wounds. They all hate Daemons and Psykers, get Fanatic Discipline, Night Vision, the Cadre rules (forcing them to be the mandatory HQ if the detachment is less than 500 pts, meaning they eat up at least 1/5 of the budget by themselves), and the ability to make their melee attacks ID. The Questorae only get CCWs, Bolt Pistols, Assault Needlers, and grenades alongside their armor and Spectra-vestments which force anyone to take -1 BS to hit them, while the Silent Judge adds a refractor, a Needle Pistol, a Nuncio-Vox, and a power weapon. A Questora can buy the Adrathic Destructor, while any of them can exchange their guns for Needle Pistols or Stake Crossbows for free or buy a Snare Gun or a Flamer with a one-use boost to make them S6, and each can replace their CCW for a Charnabal Sabre or a power weapon. The Judge can swap her melee weapon for a Neuro-Lash, the Execution Blade, or a fist, while her gun can be exchanged for a Stake-Crossbow, hand flamer, plasma pistol, or a second needle pistol.
