This is due to their homeworlds being close to each other and having similar traditions. Even though the Blood Swords are from Blood Angel stock, the Star Dragons's Primogenitor is "unknown," and thus we don't officially know who they're from. But since their "similar" to the Blood Swords then they are probably Blood Angels or Salamanders or hell even a specific traitor legion for all we know.
