Wyrmslayers are a version of Paladins for Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition found in Dragon Magazine #332 who, as the name suggests, specialize in hunting down and killing dragons. Technically, they're a Variant Class, but only by the thinnest margins; most of the article is about building a regular paladin to embody the wyrmslayer ethos; what skills are worth taking, what is the best use of the Special Mount class feature, what are good prestige classes and equipment and feats, combat tips, things like that. There is a small sidebar on how to handle wyrmslayers as a variant c lass, but the differences are quite minor; as a full class, wyrmslayers:
- Swap Knowledge (Nobility & Royalty) for Knowledge (Arcana) as a class skill.
- Can freely multiclass as Rangers so long as their first selected Favored Enemy is Dragon.
- Replace the Remove Disease spell-like ability with Resist Energy spell-like ability.
