Tallarn An Imperial planet that is pretty much entirely desert. Used to be a lush forest before having the shit virus-bombed out of it. Home to a sizable number of Imperial Guard regiments, whose soldiers tend to be more Empra-revering than average.

They're basically Space Towel-Heads, only with marginally less suicidal tactics (it is the Guard after all). They love mechanised warfare: the Battle for Tallarn was the largest tank battle in the history of the Imperium of Man
