Tallarn An Imperial planet that is pretty much entirely desert. Used to be a lush forest before having the shit virus-bombed out of it. Home to a sizable number of Imperial Guard regiments, whose soldiers tend to be more Empra-revering than average.

They're basically Space Taliban, only with marginally less suicidal tactics (it is the Guard after all) albeit with tactics derived from the World War 2 Desert Rats and SAS. They love mechanised warfare: the Battle for Tallarn was the largest tank battle in the history of the Imperium of Man.Tallarn Raiders worked alongside the Eldar when chaos nearly fucked their planet. The Tallarn Desert Raiders are grimdark, for when a raider dies, his body has the water sucked out of it and put in a storage tank.
