Obox-ob is Prince of Vermin, an ancient obyrith demon; he rules layer 663 of the Abyss. He is allegedly the last surviving aspect of the old Prince of (all) Demons. In the Obyrith's native multiverse, the location corresponding to the Prime Material plane was actually a giant multiversal trash heap, so as you could imagine there wasn't much stopping the Lord of Vermin from laying claim to the whole thing, which from there allowed him to make the entire Great Wheel (or whatever shape that multiverse took) his bitch. He hates the tanar'ri and wants to ethnically cleanse the Abyss from them, overthrow Demogorgon, and torture The Queen of Chaos for all eternity for taking his power away from him.
