When all you have is fire, everything looks like Chicago in 1871.

Battle Wizards, are militant members of the Colleges of Magic in Warhammer Fantasy. Men and Women wielding great arcane powers, battle wizards are among the most powerful and dangerous people in the Empire. The great destruction they can reap upon the battlefield makes them highly untrusted, and at worst seen as barely sentient living weapons by the most dogmatic of the Empire's orthodoxy. This view of them is not helped by the fact that most Battle Wizards, are "unhinged" to say the least, the great lengths they have gone to study the Winds of magic have left their minds addled. Most of it comes off as flippant moods and strange rituals, for others it can be complete total insanity, with them only being let out of isolation to sow devastation upon the foes of Sigmar's imperial realm.
