The Black Vipers are a Loyalist Space Marine chapter created from the Salamanders Geneseed. Formed during the Ultima Founding, the Black Vipers are comprised entirely of Primaris Marines. Since Primaris Marines have, thus far, been entirely incompatible with both terminator armor and standard-issue jump packs, their chapter organization remains largely unknown, but is said to focus on aggressive orbital assaults with Inceptor Squads, followed up by destabilizing strikes from Reiver Squads.
