One day in Altdorf, some Cathayan visitors decided to set up a big fireworks display at a festival. This inspired one Herman Faulkstein to try to weaponize this exotic eastern technology. After much setbacks and a lot of tinkering to improve areodynamics he eventually got something which was accurate-ish enough to use as a weapon to blow up formations of chaos worshipers and gobbos. Thus was born the Helstorm Rocket Battery, except they only named it after firing the weapon with Boris Todbringer around, nearly hit him, and naturally he fucking cursed the hell out of the artillery crew.
A Helblaster Rocket Battery is basically an early modern Katyusha launching Congreve Rockets.
