Codex Supplement - Taghmata Omnissiah

What's All This Then?[edit | edit source]
When Forge World made the Horus Heresy game, one of the factions introduced was the Mechanicum. Representing the Adeptus Mechanicus' ancestors, these forces used awesome weapons like lightning guns, martian heat-rays, and titan-killing Ordinatus engines! Adeptus Mechanicus players and fans of 40k alike cried out for Forge World to port rules for these wonderful miniatures to 40k, just as they had most of the new Space Marine models (and a handful of the Guard models, too). Forge World answered, announcing Imperial Armour XIV - Fires of Cyraxus! Featuring a planetary war between the Adeptus Mechanicus and the Tau, Fires of Cyraxus was (supposed) to bring the whole spectrum of Mechanicum models to the Adeptus Mechanicus and deploy a bunch of new Tau models to boot! Rumors spread of the introduction of the Dark Mechanicus as a faction, and toaster-fuckers everywhere rejoiced! And they waited... and waited... and waited...
It has been many years since Fires of Cyraxus was announced, and the last word we got on that front was GW saying that they were, in fact, still working on it (this was in 2017). Since its announcement, Forge World has released multiple new models for Horus Heresy, including new Mechanicum models. But Fires of Cyraxus never came, and Forge World's answer became a lie. So a fan of toasters and dorfs decided to make rules for the Mechanicum models to be used in an Adeptus Mechanicus army in 40k! Designed to compliment rather than replace the Adeptus Mechanicus codex, the Taghmata Omnissiah supplement details the rules you need to bring the forces of the Mechanicum to your 40k games!

Where Can I Get Miniatures For Some Of These Units?[edit | edit source]
- Basically just Forge World and ebay. The only unit which doesn't have a preset model for use in 30k is the Lectro-Maester, which can be used by just grabbing Larsen van der Grauss off of ebay or kitbashing one yourself.
