The M27 Heavy Tank is an end-product of the T20 experimental tank line represented in Flames of War. However, unlike the M24 Chaffee and the M26 Pershing, the M27 was never approved for production and did not serve with US forces. However, the T26 line would lead to the development and eventual approval & mass production of the Pershing.
