Faction Overview[edit]

Pros[edit]

  • Versatile: Infantry, archers, cavalry, elites, and mages, this faction has a little bit of everything meaning you can easily customize a list for any matchup.

Cons[edit]

  • Slow: With the obvious exception of the horse riders and your floaty stonemage, don’t expect these guys to be in a hurry, especially the stoneguard units.

Abilities Overview[edit]

Fighters[edit]

  • [Double] Shining Company: If there are two or more friendly Warrior fighters within 1" of this fighter, subtract 1 from enemy attacks that target this fighter.
  • [Double] Mountain Stance: Subtract 1 to damage dealt from each hit/critical hit that target this fighter.
  • [Double] Go Where the Wind Blows: Add half (rounding up) of the ability value to a fighter's Move for their next move action.
  • [Triple] Move Like the Wind: The fighter can disengage within 1" of an enemy fighter for their current activation.
  • [Triple] Lances of the Dawn: When this fighter ends a move action within 1" of an enemy fighter, that enemy fighter is dealt damage equal to the value of this ability.
  • [Quad] Perfect Strike: The fighter can do an extra attack action and their crits deal extra damage equal to the value of this ability.

Leaders[edit]

  • [Double] Moonfire Flask: Choose a visible enemy fighter within 6" and roll two dice. On a 4-5, deal 1 damage to that fighter. On a 6, deal damage equal to the value of this ability.
  • [Double] Sharp-eyed Scryhawk: Choose a visible enemy fighter within 20". Add 1 to attacks that target this fighter.
  • [Double] Lone Agent: Fighter gets a free move action. Can be used only if there are no friendly models within 6" from the targeted fighter.
  • [Triple] Realmscribe: Place a token within 9" from the fighter. Friendly models within 6" from the token take 1 less damage from enemy crits until the end of the battle round.
  • [Triple] Emotional Transference: Choose 1 visible friendly fighter within 12" that has 1 or more damage dealt to it. Then choose a visible enemy fighter that’s also within 12". Deal damage to the enemy fighter equal to the value of this ability.
  • [Quad] Gravitic Redirection: Deal D3 damage time all visible enemy fighters within 6" of this fighter, rolling for each enemy. Additionally, halve the enemy move characteristics as well.
