Kobolds are pretty much a pile of organs for the purpose of beating, dismembering, and laughing at.
 
They used to be dogs, but they ended up reptiles somehow.
They're generally tiny and wimpy, with adventures picking on them because they're short,with the exception of Pun-Pun. Nobody fucks with Pun-Pun.
They can make pretty nice traps, and can actually be a threat if played right. (Namely Tuckers Kobolds http://tuckerskobolds.com/)
