So why are these guys important? Well, they are another Smurf Chapter and they cannonically are hard for the Codex. Such that they have offended other Space Marines for being too literal with the Codex. Yes they piss off other chapters if they don't follow their spiritual liege's word as much as they do. Again, they probably have a rivalry with the Genesis Chapter over who can memorize the thing better. When Roboute came back they probably had a micro-civil war between each other over who gets to suck Robbies cock harder. If only Roboute smacked some sense into these idiots. | So why are these guys important? Well, they are another Smurf Chapter and they cannonically are hard for the Codex. What do you get when you take the Genesis Chapter and make them more friendly to the Ad Mech? You get the Praetors of Orpheus. You probably haven't heard of them, but that's natural since,
1. They're Ultramarine Successor Chapter number 845,136,451,986.
2. They have a long and confusing name. Before you make your judgement ask your self: "Would I ever say, 'My Space Marines are the Praetors of Orpheus, and NOT butcher the name?" You bet your ass you wouldn't.
Fourtunately, they are not 100% stupid. For some reason, they are good friends with the Mechanicum. Like really good friends. Somehow surpasing even the Iron Hands for machine love! Yeah, that makes no sense, does it? Supposedly, they have a "special key," called an Orphean Key that functions like a over-glorified multi-tool. Not only can it be a key but it can be an Auspex and a scanner that can detect broken or damaged equipment that no one else can repair! Sounds like whoever wrote their blurb of fluff was away while their thirteen-year-old son got on the computer and made his Special Snow-flake Chapter cannon. Oh and their Fortress Monastery is underground and in the middle of a maze. Also the ONLY event these guys were apart of was when a Imperial General named Lord Kazanlak, got infected by a xeno parasite and started a rebellion. Oh and when his soldiers found out about the parasite they turned on him and they took out their evil General and were pardoned by these Marines. Aren't they nice? By the way they're totally awesome, didn't I write that part? Oh and GW can't keep track of anything so their homeworld's name got retconned. As of the 9th edition map, it's now located north of the Grendl Stars, between Sternac and Sotha.
