So we know that in Chaos Space Marine warbands, being given the mutations from the Chaos Gods is deemed as one of the highest of honours. But all of them are special snowflakes and we barely hear any examples of mortals being given the same levels of 'gifts' as the Spiky Boyz do. Well in 2022, GW has heard us and given us this beaut.
Overview
Accursed Cultist Mutants as their name implies, are Chaos Cultists who are heavily mutated by Chaos. These guys are chaps who have done something incredibly right or incredibly wrong to be gifted the mutations of Chaos.
Whatever is the case, Accursed Cultist Mutants are deemed amongst fellow Cultists to have gone one step further in their devotion for KHAOOOOOOS! That they are now more closely related to Daemon than Human. Because of their mutations, most of them spawned a myriad of body horror, making them quite vicious in close quarters combat.
