Dust Runner
Dust Runners are the juves of the Ash Waste Nomads of Necromunda.
Overview[edit | edit source]
These guys are as green as grass. They are youths willing to be inducted into the clan and must pass a trial-by-fire before being recognised as a Tarn’runi. As such, all Dust Runners must walk a spiritual journey before they are considered as 'adults'. Given the heavy family unit of each Ash Waste Nomad clans, it is safe to assume that each kid born into a clan starts off as a Dust Runner automatically, and due to the close-nit nature of said clan, an outsider cannot be inducted as a Dust Runner as they ain't 'family'.
As the most inexperienced of the lot. Dust Runners aren't equipped with the best equipment. They usually carry a Blast Pistol, Blast Rifle and a Stalking Knife for war, alongside a belt of Frag and Krak Grenades. However, they are forbidden to wield a Long Rifle or any other weapons as they are not yet deemed 'ready' for it.
Crunch[edit | edit source]
On Necromunda, Juves have very similar options to the Nomad Warrior but lack access to Long Rifles. Other than that, they behave somewhat similar to their seniors, it is just that they are even squishier but cheaper as a result. In all honesty, use the Warriors as you have the same unit but with more options and better stats. You only use Dust Runners if you literally want to plug-in the extra points.
