Automated Fighting Drone
Automated Fighting Drones are basically UCAVs in SPEHSS.
They are used and utilized by the Demiurg and the wider Squat-centric Leagues of Votann, and are armed with some sort of weaponised mining laser, probably the same as those found on larger Squat ships, just on a much smaller and tactical scale. They bear some resemblance to a miniature Demiurg/Squat Bastion-class Commerce Vessel and only appeared in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada. They look similar to the Automated Bombing Drone; however, they are much slimmer and less wide than their bomber brethren.
In Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 1 & 2[edit | edit source]
Automated Fighting Drones only appear in Demiurg fleets and are faster than their Tau Barracuda counterparts whilst their miniature cutting beams makes them a force to be reckoned with. Although this makes them superior, they could only be launched in the Cruiser and Battleship range.
