Guildmaster
Guildmasters are high-ranking figures within Squat Guilds. A Squat Engineers Guild Expeditionary Force always contains at least one Guildmaster, who serve as engineering specialists. Guildmasters are well-protected, often wearing Exo Armor and Force Fields. They are also known to sometimes go into battle on Squat Bikes.
Tabletop back in ye old days[edit | edit source]
At 20 points per model, Guildmasters were surprisingly cheap. However their upgrades would ramp up their point cost for a lot.
Guildmasters come equipped with Flak Armor, the signature Exo Armor for +75 points, Plate Armor, a close combat weapon such as a knife, frag grenades, krak grenades, melta bombs and a range weapon usually Plasma Gun.
The Guildmaster has a wide choice of equipment; his important status within the Guild allows him to acquire virtually any equipment he likes. He cannot use this privilege to supply other members of his force, and he may only choose items he intends to use himself. To represent this the Guildmaster can make the following rolls on the Special Equipment Charts, in addition to taking any of the above equipment. He may apply a -10, +10, +20 or +30 modifier to these rolls on the Special Equipment Charts.
The Guildmaster can take a Bike or Trike for an additional +70 points with another additional +20 points for a Force Field.
