Sea Dragons are an oceanic race of dragons native to the Dungeons & Dragons setting of Dragonlance. Evil counterparts to the noble Aquatic Dragons, they resemble the Dragon Turtles of other worlds, and are believed to have been created by the sea goddess Zeboim in her jealousy of her mother - which separates them from the Brine Dragons, who are generally accepted as being an experiment by Takhisis to create her own seafaring dragon race.

Amphi Dragon

Amphi Dragons, also known as Amphidragons, are an offshoot race of Sea Dragons who have been around since the days of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. Originally, they were said to be the result of crossbreeding between a Sea Dragon and a Green Dragon, but in 3rd edition's "Dragons of Krynn, they were instead stated to be half-Black Dragon. Most fans just accept that both types of Chromatic Dragon can produce these horrible hybrids.

One of the most bizarre looking dragons in Dungeons & Dragons, an amphi dragon looks like nothing less than a giant, scaly toad with draconic wings. Weirdly enough, Mojobob's entries on the Amphi and Sea Dragons have the artwork swapped around, with the Amphi Dragon art on the Sea Dragon article and vice-versa.
