Neurocyte
Neurocytes are parasitic Tyranid organisms which cling to the backs of Neurogaunts.
Overview
These comparatively small Tyranid organisms resembles a large, armoured pill-bug covered entirely from head-to-toe in Chitin. It is currently unknown what their purposes is actually is. But we can speculate that if the Neurogaunts are living psychic relays akin to an internet router, than the Neurocyte could act as the antennae of the router.
Whatever is the case, no Neurogaunt is seen without their Neurocyte buddies. So they are pretty dang important for the organism as a whole.
